Honestly let’s start with the criticism: if you start at the beginning you may be a little put off by the graphics - the environments are plain and sterile, camera placement is functional but boring, the lighting is very flat, the characters look like stickers, but all that changes over time.
It is clear that cosy-creator is getting better at those things, I would say around day 20 we have dynamic renders, with interesting camera and character placement, soft lighting with shadows and it’s starting to look really great!
But the heart of this is the story and the characters. All characters have their own personality and voice. They are fully realized personalities that live and exist even when the MC is not around. And they are consistent to the point where I was able to predict exactly what they will say next. The writing is definitely the strength of this avn.
There are not many choices, but honestly I was very quickly engrossed in the story that I didn’t even notice.
Lewd scenes are earned and fit within the story. Yes this takes some time and if you’re just looking for a quick wank, you may be disappointed, this is a slow burn, more focused on intimacy and romance. But when we get there it feels deserved for these characters.
I think my least favorite subplot is the one involving Misaki, the public thing just isn’t for me, but to each their own.
Catherine surprised me in the last update, I didn’t like her much, but now I’m looking forward to her development.

The dev has explained it a few different places, but the tl;dr is there will only be 10 girlfriends. There are a few additional side LIs (also included in the main girls bio page) that will have slightly less content than the girlfriends.
Part 1 is a story from day 1 to 20, part 2 is day 20+. I may be wrong about wxact days, but basically gane parted somethinglike that. So if you a new player you need both versions to see a full story

Did you improve on the ambient sounds? Cause i really liked what you did with the rain and bird background sounds. It feels like ist more and better placed than in previous chapters. Also, amazing defelopement for Misaki and also with Rachel!
Little Question about the a Scene: Were did Catherine's mother got the Food? What we see on the Table is nothning complicated for a normal human, but than, she has problems figuring out how to boil water. Did she has it delivered? But than again, her pride wouldnt allow that. I'm confused ^^
Little bug Report, although i'm sure you know. The Character Bios are still broken. Could you possibly add another update pointer at the start of each chapter that writes all previous entries? That way, Players/Readers could work around that Problem with just starting from the newest update and than load their last save in case they dont finish in one session. Its mostly like it is now, Just with a additional one at the start.
Dont know how many ppl even care about such things, so i have no idea if its worth the effort.
Regarding the scene with Catherine's mother: If you pay close attention, you may notice that the plates in the morning are a different set. It is implied breakfast was delivered from the Hamilton estate kitchens. The fact that she couldn't even boil water lends additional credence to this.
Yea, i wrote that something like this would be a possible answer. But than again, thats a lot for a single night preparation time. And with what reasoning for the Hamiltons? I mean, did she make a phonecall "hey, can you deliver some food? I need to impress the founder Boy your family is after so he dosnt notice im only pretending to be rich" ? That would be way out of character for her to swallow her pride this hard. I belive she would rather starve to death than do something like that. Even if she dosnt use those words, she still would have to admit it.
Thats why im so curious about this smal detail.
She could have ordered it from some random place. Kinda as an investment. But in this case, i bet Cozy Creator would have let the MC notice some packaging somewere because she is unable to conceal it. And if MC got such a proof, he could literaly crush her ego. Everyone knows. But as long as she can play pretend, she is save in her own world.
But hey, its also possible that i think way to much into that scene. On the other hand, Cozy kinda has a habbit to bring up small details later XD
You forgot the part where Mary is working directly with her brother, Mr Hamilton, to get the MC to marry into their family first. When she sees them the night before, they even talk about how she probably was already calling him as she walked away from Catherine's room. It isn't about swallowing pride- its about capitalizing on a situation that can play directly into their hand. And getting the meals there isn't difficult if you have a kitchen staff you can just wake up early and request breakfast to go.
I haven't checked myself, but you may want to look at the breakfast plates vs the plates used for lunch during the council meeting. I have a feeling they may be the same.
I just checked. They are not the same. Even though, there are not that many to see at the meeting, its clearly different.
Also I think it would be a crazy amount of work to add different plates for all households. I guess thats why its usualy plain white plates. But nevertheless, you might still be on to something just because they are not plain white. That could be a strong hint. Because, the evening before, when MC made pancakes, the plates were white. The same as in the Cafe btw.
Im just not fully convinced that she ordered the food from the Hamiltons. Such a plain meal from their kitchen? But than again, it might just be a stock food asset Cozy used.

Now first I want to say I was surprised with how much I enjoy CosyCafé, because it is at odds with my usual picks. I typically favour choice-based VNs with heavy emphasis on SF/Fantasy. Yet this one which is neither and I picked up on a whim not expecting much, easily enters my top 3 of all time.
The next thing I was shocked with is how emotionally involved I got. In many harem VNs I have one or two favourites, and middling interest in the rest of the cast. But here I feel genuine attraction towards nearly all of the girls. In particular I was blindsided by the heartbreak I felt with the events on days 19-21.
I'm curious about one thing : some of the girls seem to have a very purple lower-eyelid in some renders, particularly on high-angle face close-ups. I don't dislike it; but is it on purpose, is there a reason for it, is it make-up or genetics or a just comes with the engine?
The big reason this harem story works as well as it does is that the harem is a manageable number and the stories are actually all interconnected. Lucy and Victoria are the two not directly tied to the founding families but are the original ties to the other characters and the MC's rejection of that world. Time and attention is given to all characters fairly and the intertwining of the interactions between the girls keeps the ones not getting direct attention at this moment from being forgotten characters.
The purple eye thing is a bug in the old graphics software I'm using. After a while I grew to quite like it, however I've just upgraded my software so it will probably be gone in the next update.
you mean that blue thing around the eye?. honestly it annoyed me a little at first too but as i continue playing i start licking it and thinks that it suits the girls. i don’t know if i will get used to the girls without it now , will be kinda hard haha.
The best game of this kind of zhana among hentai games that I played, yes, it is almost not to call it a game as there is no choice affecting the plot, but caught myself thinking about whether this choice is necessary? to make a variety without the quality of elaboration of the plot? A bunch of similar games and they have nothing interesting, a stupid set of primetivnyh dialogues and monotonous scenes.
This game is completely different, even though it is absolutely linear, but how in it all done atmospherically and with a soul.
So far I can compare this game with harem hotel, also a good game of this genre, from what I played, and in this game there is a preimuschestvo in the fact that you do not have to yanyanyanyatsya in search of content, just click next and get the development of the story.
I'm still on day 11 and already got a lot of good emotions from the interaction of characters, hopefully there will be more interesting things to come.
About the characters - all of them are extremely high quality in terms of character and dialog, but most of all I was hooked by Victoria, these emotional chips with playful jealousy, games of domination over the one who was once an enemy, it's a masterpiece, I hope such content will be more

Just finished 0.12. Absolutely perfect as always, still suprised how you are able to make this good again and again with every update. Still too short, but its just me who can't get enough. Seriously, its a masterpiece and best novel I ever played and you keep convincing me in it every time with excellent characters development

First of all it is a great update. I especially like the story arc for which you redid those 6 images. But I found an additional image that isn't ingame which I'm most curious about. Is it something that will be ingame like for christmas or just an additional render? And a question for anyone: Do you also have more lags at the rain video, because that's the only video that lags for me with only about 5 fps.
Oh, haha, yeah that was a test image that got left in apparently. I make bonus renders and post them on discord occasionally, that's where it came from originally.
Having updated my android version with the latest download I cannot play. Any part 2 game save I open just provides me with the error message and won't play.
Yeah, I mentioned in the release notes that old saves will be broken this time due to some fixes for the new UI. You should just be able to start a new game and jump right to the new content.

Relatively new to playing VNs but I have to say, this is easily one of my favourites. Great writing, genuinely getting attached to the girls in game. Are there any future plans to expand the harem? (Mika) in particular.

Cosy does indeed do a good job, I've been reading since around 0.5 and I've been hooked ever since, I'm glad to see more and more of cosys fan base grow
My only real nitpick is the girls elbows on the character models desperately need lotion 😂

But that's the only complaint I could think of. Besides Eternum I can't think of another game like this with this well fleshed out characters. Lucy is absolutely adorable, and somehow managed to make Akatsuki extremely memorable with barely any dialogue just using blocking & body language which is super talented filmmaking techniques you don't normally see here.
Haha, yeah, the elbows and knees have been getting a lot of comments lately. I'm gonna look at improving them if I can (though I may not be able to. And yeah, I have a bit of a soft spot for Lucy and Akatsuki, too! Though, thinking about it, I'd probably say that for all of the girls - I may be biased...
here is an idea on how to smooth out the elbow and knee wrinkle issue.
Something completely out of the wack, like a bunny rabbit from the future working as sales person selling lotion for making super smooth skin.

Eternum is still the king for character/story still, and the sex scene with Alex is the best in the genre, and Genesis order/Nadia for the sex scenes..but I absolutely agree this is riiiight up there. The characters are adorable and definitely in the top of the genre
I allow myself to post other very good games, such as Projekt Passion, Realm Invaders, Ripples. but Cosy Cafe has in my opinion the perfect mix of well written story and plot (something that is possible in real life not as in Eternum or the other games), the different characters, the graphics are awesome and also the music. it is a perfectly mastered game. similar in what way? theme, art style, type of events? if its the theme on i think of harem hotel. as the name sugest you run a hotel instead of a cafe. the art style is also similar. tho it doesnt have a straight forward story with choices you can make. each girl hass her own progression and story. you can pretty much decide with who you spend time with. the order doesn't really matter.

on linux desktop I could load the last scene from day 26 night and just replay it and it continued without any issues.
Question. Is impregnation/pregnancy going to be added in part 2?

Relatively new to playing VNs but I have to say, this is easily one of my favourites. Great writing, genuinely getting attached to the girls in game. Are there any future plans to expand the harem? (Mika) in particular.

I was so excited for the new update, it was worth every moment of waiting.I play this game probably since version 0.7 my cell phone was a very bad model so it was very late but I managed to save some money to buy a new one and now I can Enjoy the experience, what a good game!!!! The development of the plot and character development is very good, I'm very anxious to know what will happen each day that passes in the game Even though this style of game isn't my favorite, mainly because it's more text than choices than there usually are, I don't care, this game is amazing, it really keeps me hooked. I could say what I can say about this game? But the right question is, what don't I have to say about this game? The characters are not robots to just have sex with the protagonist, they have all the development and the plot to really arrive at the right moment as it really is in real life.Sorry if I said too much and if there are any spelling mistakes I apologize my English is not very fluent. Cosy does indeed do a good job, I've been reading since around 0.5 and I've been hooked ever since, I'm glad to see more and more of cosys fan base grow

My only real nitpick is the girls elbows on the character models desperately need lotion 😂

But that's the only complaint I could think of. Besides Eternum I can't think of another game like this with this well fleshed out characters. Lucy is absolutely adorable, and somehow managed to make Akatsuki extremely memorable with barely any dialogue just using blocking & body language which is super talented filmmaking techniques you don't normally see here.
Haha, yeah, the elbows and knees have been getting a lot of comments lately. I'm gonna look at improving them if I can (though I may not be able to. And yeah, I have a bit of a soft spot for Lucy and Akatsuki, too! Though, thinking about it, I'd probably say that for all of the girls - I may be biased...
here is an idea on how to smooth out the elbow and knee wrinkle issue. Something completely out of the wack, like a bunny rabbit from the future working as sales person selling lotion for making super smooth skin. That will throw everybody off. but the new renders are wrinkle free.
dont change the elbows and knees too much, i kind of like that there are textures for them.

Eternum is still the king for character/story still, and the sex scene with Alex is the best in the genre, and Genesis order/Nadia for the sex scenes..but I absolutely agree this is riiiight up there. The characters are adorable and definitely in the top of the genre

I allow myself to post other very good games, such as Projekt Passion, Realm Invaders, Ripples. but Cosy Cafe has in my opinion the perfect mix of well written story and plot (something that is possible in real life not as in Eternum or the other games), the different characters, the graphics are awesome and also the music. it is a perfectly mastered game. similar in what way? theme, art style, type of events? if its the theme on i think of harem hotel. as the name sugest you run a hotel instead of a cafe. the art style is also similar. tho it doesnt have a straight forward story with choices you can make. each girl hass her own progression and story. you can pretty much decide with who you spend time with. the order doesn't really matter.

1000% agree with Eternum, there's a reason its the best game in the genre, surpassing most games that aren't even porn with it's story, and also has the same wholesome aspects and adorable love interests
Harem hotel is definitely a solid recommendation
Genesis order/Nadia have the best scenes and good characters too.
